Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking an Intern to support our Leasing function with a project-based assignment. You will work with cross-functional teams and senior leaders to learn from seasoned professionals in commercial real estate.

You will lead a summer project analyzing demographics, sales, development and leasing activity across properties, while gaining exposure to the full dealmaking process and lease-related tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in College or University with graduation date preferred (Dec 2027–May 2028).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Argus/Dyna software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a summer-long project analyzing demographics, sales, development and leasing activity across properties.
• Assist with tenant prospecting, lead generation and leveraging social media to identify market trends.
• Interact with cross-functional departments to understand the leasing dealmaking cycle.
• Provide support for lease-related tasks including data entry and preparing reports and other lease documents.
• Other duties as assigned.
