Hillphoenix is offering an HR internship at its Keosauqua, IA facility. You will gain hands-on experience across HR disciplines, learn from HR leaders, and deliver a final presentation on learnings and improvements to enhance the candidate and team experience.

The internship emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills while participating in orientations, recruiting activities, and HR projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in HR, OD or similar program from an accredited university.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use tact and integrity.
• Excellent attention to detail, prioritization, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Learn the operations aspects of the facility and how HR supports business operations.
• Assist in coordinating new hire orientations, onboarding, developing programs, and increasing employee communications.
• Perform process analysis of current HR processes and propose improvements for efficiency.
• Support recruiting: updating job descriptions, posting positions, vetting applications, organizing interviews.
• Update company databases with new employee information and maintain files.
• Respond to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits and other HR matters.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by manager.
