Summary:
The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team with recruitment activities, employee health and wellness initiatives, compensation and benefits administration, and a variety of general HR functions. This role assists with functions as assigned and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as Federal and State employment laws.

Education, Licensure and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Education Required: Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in Human Resources, Business, Management or other healthcare related build.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists HR Leadership with updating and maintaining policies.
- Create presentations as needed using PowerPoint and Canva.
- Create and print new hire and transfer badges as needed.
- Maintains HR file room, scans in documents, uploads to appropriate place in file.
- Assists with front desk and lobby support.
- Conducts audits as assigned.
- Assists with various HR projects as needed.
- Assists with various reporting and notification requirements.
- Assists department with event planning including, but not limited to, registrations, flyers, and tracking of candidates.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Follows North Oaks Health’s compliance programs and all federal and state regulatory guidelines.
