Job summary

Emerson in the Twin Cities is offering an internship in Human Resources. You will support DEI, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition initiatives, helping plan programs that promote inclusion and attract top talent.

You will assist onboarding, rotate through employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development to gain broad HR exposure, and you’ll analyze data using Excel or HRIS.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s in business or HR recommended.
• 0 years of related experience required.
• In-person, 40 hours/week at Twin Cities location (Shakopee, Chanhassen, or Eden Prairie).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic HR initiatives across DEI, learning & development, and talent acquisition.
• Assist onboarding and orientation by preparing materials and coordinating schedules.
• Gain exposure by rotating across employee relations, compensation, benefits, and organizational development.
• Analyze HR data and generate reports using Excel or HRIS tools to inform decisions.
• Support HR systems upgrades and process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
