Meijer in Grand Rapids, MI offers an 11-week Human Resource Internship that provides hands-on HR experience, leadership interaction, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Interns collaborate with Corporate HR partners to analyze data, recommend process improvements, and contribute to Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and HR Generalist activities, with exposure to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 2–4 years of HR work experience is highly preferred.
• Familiar with HRMS systems Workday and Kronos.
• Strong research and analytical skills and a logical problem-solving approach.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Customer-focused and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Corporate HR partners to analyze data and improve processes.
• Communicate HR initiatives and recommendations.
• Gain exposure to Talent Management, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, and HR Generalist functions.
• Assist in developing tools and resources to strengthen culture and Employee development.
