Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced HR Insights & Business Reporting Analyst to support a leading enterprise hospital organization's healthcare data & analytics team. This role focuses on providing business insights and analytics for HR and labor management, utilizing Workday HCM and PowerBI to analyze workforce and labor data, including employee turnover, retention, and labor trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HR partners, Total Rewards leaders, and Talent Acquisition teams to gather requirements and identify data needs.
  • Extract and analyze workforce and labor data from systems like Workday HCM and Lawson (legacy system).
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and wireframes using PowerBI to present insights and trends.
  • Collaborate with the data team to refine data sources and ensure accuracy.
  • Identify outlier data, analyze HR metrics, and provide recommendations for employee retention and labor optimization.
  • Understand how Workday data flows into the data warehouse and how inputs influence reporting.
  • Develop nested metrics, exports, and reports to provide business leaders with actionable insights.
  • Work in a fast-paced, enterprise healthcare environment while documenting processes and findings effectively.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics & data analysis (consideration for 3+ years at a lower compensation range).
  • 2-3+ years of experience working with workforce/labor data, such as employee retention, turnover, and recruiting data.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including pulling and analyzing workforce data.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, with experience in building dashboards and analyzing trends.
  • Experience working with MS SQL databases or similar data management systems.
  • Strong soft skills: adaptability, documentation, listening, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enterprise experience is required; healthcare experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience in healthcare/hospital workforce analytics to understand physician and nursing workforce trends.
  • Knowledge of Snowflake data warehouse.
  • Familiarity with PowerQuery / DAX.
  • Workday or HRIS certification.
  • PowerBI certification.
