Human Resources Administration at Georgia State University is seeking to hire an
HR Help Desk Specialist.

What Will You Do: This position is responsible for providing HR customer service support for staff, faculty, and students.
Duties And Responsibilities Include:
- Investigate and resolve a broad range of simple to complex HR questions and issues by: answering, evaluating, and accurately prioritizing incoming telephone, voicemail, email requests for assistance from college & division HR officers, managers, and staff across GSU.
- Resolves routine problems based on existing documentation, training, resources, etc. Solicits relevant information from client in order to sufficiently describe non-routing problems to Tier 2 representatives and effectively communicate resolution to client.
- Maintain documentation of activities, including logging and tracking all work using ServiceNow.
- Actively works to drive all work to the lowest possible resolution level by recommending/authoring knowledge articles for addition to the knowledge base, recommending new case categories and continually seeking innovative ways to improve the HR customer experience
- Assists guests in-person at HR Service Window
- Provides administrative support
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree; or High School diploma or GED and four years of customer service, administrative or office experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office management software.
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer service role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues promptly and efficiently.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with a focus on precision and reliability.
- Experience in handling sensitive data and ensuring data privacy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with visitors and team members.

Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
