Job summary

FlowerHire is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with strong union and labor relations experience to support its national expansion. This hands-on role requires understanding CBAs, seniority, recalls, layoffs, investigations, and workplace issues in a unionized setting.

The ideal candidate will partner with leadership and union representatives, manage employee relations, investigations, and HR operations onsite five days a week, and help transition the workforce through organizational changes

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist, HR Manager, Employee Relations, or Labor Relations experience.
• Experience with unionized workforce and CBAs.
• Strong understanding of CBAs, seniority, recalls, layoffs.
• Experience with investigations and employee relations.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Serve as onsite HR resource for union and labor-related matters.
• Understand and apply the facility's CBA provisions to HR practices.
• Partner with leadership and union reps on employee relations and contract interpretation.
• Support and participate in union negotiations and labor discussions as needed.
• Advise management on seniority, recalls, layoffs, hiring, promotions, and other workforce decisions.
• Conduct employee investigations involving workplace complaints and policy violations.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and HR documentation; ensure policy compliance.
• Support workforce transition and recall of eligible former employees.
