Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and employee relations within a manufacturing environment. You will partner with site supervisors to align programs with company policies and compliance, while driving workforce planning and development.

The role emphasizes hourly recruiting, benefits administration, employee engagement, and training coordination, with occasional travel for events and outreach.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years of progressive human resources experience required.
• Experience supporting recruiting, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, or timekeeping functions in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, and learning management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR team member supporting talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and training coordination.
• Partner with supervisors to ensure consistent policy application and compliance.
• Lead hourly recruiting and payroll administration activities.
• Develop workforce outreach and community partnership initiatives.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, wellness programs, and leave management.
• Support employee engagement and recognition programs and training efforts.
