Job summary

Sysco Irvine CA seeks an HR professional to support HRBP in implementing local initiatives and executing core HR programs. You will help attract, develop, retain and engage talent to meet business goals.

Responsibilities include onboarding, compliance, employee relations, recruitment support, and e-Time payroll activities, with emphasis on maintaining accurate personnel records and administering various HR processes.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources management or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HRBP to execute core HR processes and programs.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, leave admin, and payroll-related activities.
• Review and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Maintain personnel files and support recruitment with Talent Acquisition.
• Provide coaching on policy/procedure and conduct employee investigations as needed.
• Support inclusive culture and employee engagement initiatives.
