Job summary

Dal-Tile Distribution, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR functions and initiatives across the organization.

You will collaborate with the HR team to deliver services in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compliance. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensure legal compliance, assist with compensation administration, conduct exit interviews, and provide guidance to managers and employees on policies and workplace issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2-4 years of relevant HR experience or equivalent.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, addressing concerns and providing guidance.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain an intimate understanding of departments to build productive relationships between employees and leadership.
• Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and interpreting applicable HR requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting and performance reviews.
• Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.
• Support compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt staff.
• Keep HR management informed and seek direction on complex issues.
• Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and improvements.
• Provide feedback to management based on exit findings.
• Facilitate HR projects, events, and programs.
• Analyze trends and provide summaries to management.
• Serve as a trusted HR advisor on HR-related matters.
