Job summary

KBR is seeking an HR Generalist (Contingency) to support TACOM contract operations. This role partners with employees and leaders to deliver HR guidance, handle employee relations, compliance, and core HR functions in a dynamic government-contracted environment.

The position requires a bachelor's degree, 5+ years HR experience, proficiency with Workday, strong communication and analytical skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. This is contingent upon award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations, HR operations, and workforce programs.
• Proficiency with Workday or other HRIS systems.
• Intermediate proficiency with Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (as required)
• U.S. citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Serve as HR partner to employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
• Communicate HR initiatives and policy updates through meetings, presentations, and employee communications.
• Respond to benefits, compensation, leave, and HR-related inquiries while coordinating with internal and external partners.
• Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, and performance management initiatives.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Generate HR reports, workforce metrics, dashboards, and data analysis to support management decision-making.
• Track and analyze workforce data related to recruiting, retention, employee engagement, and other HR initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee development activities.
• Support labor relations activities and administration of collective bargaining agreement provisions, as applicable.
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR team members to support organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
