Job summary

KBR's TACOM program seeks a Senior Human Resources Manager (Contingency) to lead HR operations for a large, dispersed workforce and partner with senior leadership on workforce planning, labor relations, and employee engagement. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and union experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience supporting unionized workforces, including labor relations and contract administration.
• 5+ years of employee relations investigations and case documentation.
• Experience in workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management.
• Experience coaching managers and senior leaders.
• Strong knowledge of US employment laws and HR compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS (Workday or similar) and MS Office.
• Willingness to travel; valid driver's license; US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR activities aligned with business objectives and workforce requirements.
• Provide strategic HR leadership to senior management on planning, engagement, and labor relations.
• Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives for operational success.
• Advise leadership on employee relations, performance, and organizational change.
• Lead HR personnel development and coaching to ensure service delivery.
• Coordinate workforce plans supporting current and future needs.
• Oversee employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead labor relations, including bargaining interpretation and grievances.
• Drive employee engagement strategies and retention efforts.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and contractual requirements.
• Deliver HR training for managers and staff; monitor HR analytics.
