Job summary

Pediatrics Northwest, P.S. is seeking a full-time HR Generalist to join our practice in Tacoma, WA. The role supports recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS management, and compliance within a compassionate pediatric care environment.

On-site in Tacoma with an option to work remotely 1 day per week, this position also coordinates annual Open Enrollment, administers benefits, and serves as a payroll backup. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field (highly preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years HR administrative experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Payroll experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants in collaboration with department leaders.
• Partners with leadership to identify and address workforce needs.
• Supports employee relations initiatives and retention programs.
• Ensures compliance with policies and employment regulations across the organization.
• Performs background checks and onboarding/offboarding processes including COBRA enrollment.
• Manages Leave of Absence (FMLA/state/personal) and communicates with employees/managers.
