The Valley Health System in Nevada is seeking an HR specialist to assist in managing employment processes, policy interpretation, and employee relations. This role involves records management, compliance, and coordinating recruitment for exempt and nonexempt positions within a large health system.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of HR management experience, preferably in a unionized environment, with strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, HR, administration or related field
• Five years HR management experience; union environment preferred
• Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws
• Experience with HRIS and records management

Responsabilités

• Assist in management of employment, Policy & Procedure interpretation
• Oversee day-to-day employee relations and record-keeping/compliance for employee files
• Coordinate recruitment and selection of exempt and nonexempt positions
• Support HR programs and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
