Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to contribute to our Corporate HR team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. The role guides all aspects of HR delivery across the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, associate relations, leave, benefits, and training.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 3 years HR generalist work. Preferred skills include HR systems like UKG, PeopleSoft, and Smart Recruiters; strong LOA knowledge and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or directly related year for year experience.
• 3 years of human resources experience with exposure to generalist responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Administers the employment lifecycle including sourcing, staffing, onboarding, associate relations, leave and benefits administration, and training.
• Delivers orientation and educates new hires on policy and procedures.
• Counsels management and associates on regulations, policies and HR practices related to performance, promotion and compensation.
• Provides support to client group on associate relations matters including investigations and counseling recommendations.
• Escalates complex associate relations matters to senior HR leadership to ensure policy consistency.
• Supports managers with coaching, corrective action and approval of disciplinary paperwork.
• Supports annual performance reviews and collaborates on training needs with Learning and Development.
• Administers/Supports compensation and benefit programs, unemployment claims, and the leave process.
• Maintains associate records in HRIS and generates reports.
• Identifies opportunities for HR process and policy improvements.
• Partners with senior HR to maintain procedures for delivering HR programs.
• Participates in HR task forces and collaborates to drive engagement.
