Job summary

Brenntag North America, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee the full local HR lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to exit, compensation, labor relations, and HR reporting within the region.

You will support the HR Director, assist employees and managers with HR tools, and develop strategic reports. The role requires 3–5 years in HR, strong communication, and Excel expertise in a multi-state, warehousing/distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational management, human resources management or related field with 3–5 years HR experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, and Cornerstone experience preferred.
• Multi-state HR experience preferred.
• Experience supporting front-line management.
• Experience in warehousing, manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full local HR lifecycle including hiring, mobility, onboarding, compensation, labor relations and HR reporting for the region.
• Assist the HR Director in completing tasks and reporting to meet corporate requirements.
• Help employees and managers navigate HR tools and processes; provide customer service to all employees.
• Develop complex and strategic ad hoc reports as required.
• Assist with audits to maintain corporate compliance with laws and regulations.
• Administer drug testing programs and coordinate quarterly random testing as required.
• Maintain employee files in compliance with legal requirements and retention policies.
• Process invoices for the department in a timely manner.
• Support the company’s policies and regulatory compliance; contribute to continuous improvement.
