Job summary

ZRS Management is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, performance management, and benefits administration in Orlando.

You will partner with the HR Manager and regional managers to implement HR initiatives, support payroll processes, enrollment, and reporting while ensuring adherence to regulations.

This role also covers onboarding, policy interpretation, leave administration, and data maintenance in Workday and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required or 1+ year HR experience
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
• Experience with HRIS and payroll processes a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between management and employees to address questions and resolve issues.
• Advise management on HR policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Handle employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
• Manage HR communications and timely responses to inquiries.
• Oversee internal job postings and coordinate with departments.
• Prepare offer letters, job descriptions, and other HR documents.
• Facilitate onboarding and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Ensure compliance with I-9 regulations and maintain records.
• Distribute HR newsletters and manage recognition programs.
• Conduct exit interviews and prepare turnover reports.
• Run reports from HR systems (e.g., Workday) to analyze data.
• Make recommendations to improve HR policies and practices.
• Maintain employee records and benefits data.
• Coordinate open enrollment and performance management processes.
• Monitor leave requests and disability paperwork.
• Communicate benefits coverage and premium changes.
• Assist with manager development training and coaching.
• Support Workers’ Compensation claims processes with Payroll Director.
• Assist with ERISA, EEO-1, OSHA, and 5500 reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and other employment laws.
• Collaborate on HR/payroll projects to improve engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned by HR Manager and Payroll Director.
