Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field required; master's preferred.
• 3+ years progressive HR experience; 2+ years in senior HR leadership; multi-state preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, investigations, payroll auditing, and leave administration.
• Experience with benefits, workers' compensation, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on policies and employee relations matters.
• Manage complex employee relations issues including investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead workers' compensation processes: intake, carrier communication, tracking, return-to-work.
• Partner with payroll to audit hours, resolve pay issues, and ensure accurate labor reporting.
• Administer benefits programs and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
• Support FMLA, ADA, and all leave-related processes with proper documentation.
• Manage HRIS data accuracy, run reports, and maintain confidential records.
• Lead compliance initiatives, audits, regulatory updates, and policy enhancements across states.
• Mentor HR team members and provide training on ER, benefits, and payroll practices.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, and general HR operations; maintain confidentiality.
