Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an experienced HR Generalist specializing in payroll and benefits to join our onsite team. You will serve as the primary HR contact, managing payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee records.

Responsibilities include owning payroll for 250+ employees, supporting onboarding and workforce changes, overseeing benefit enrollments and leave programs, and ensuring HR and payroll processes remain accurate,

HR Generalist | Payroll & Benefits

Scottsdale, AZ (Onsite Monday-Friday)

$65,000-$75,000

A growing, multi-location Arizona-based organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with strong Payroll and Benefits expertise to join its team. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for employees while managing critical HR functions, payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and employee records.

Responsibilities

• Own payroll and benefits administration for a growing employee population
• Act as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers
• Support onboarding, employee records management, and workforce changes
• Oversee benefit enrollments, leave programs, and employee communications
• Ensure HR and payroll processes remain accurate, compliant, and efficient

Required

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, and Benefits Administration
• Experience processing payroll for 250+ employees
• Hands‑on benefits administration experience
• Experience managing onboarding, employee records, and terminations
• Strong understanding of payroll compliance and HR best practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS/payroll systems
