Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a part-time HR support specialist for a 3-month contract, working remotely from California. The role supports senior consultants in responding to client inquiries and providing day-to-day HR guidance.

You will conduct research, analyze data, and create reports to enable service delivery, preparing project plans as well as benchmarking data. The position involves developing templates for ADA, FMLA, leave, onboarding, talent acquisition, and Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• BS/BA, preferably in Business Administration, HR, or Finance.
• 5+ years of HR experience, preferably within a corporate/internal HR role.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, especially California. Knowledge of state/local paid leave laws is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and web-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Assisting senior consultants in responding to client inquiries and providing day-to-day HR guidance on a variety of challenges.
• Conducting relevant research, perform data analysis, and create reports and supporting materials to enable operational and service delivery.
• Assisting in preparing project plans, timelines, and deliverables - including reviewing client policies and processes and compiling benchmarking data.
• Helping develop templates, tools, and standardized project solutions addressing topics such as ADA, FMLA, paid time off and leave, performance management, onboarding, talent acquisition, and Total Rewards.
• Conducting and presenting key findings on HR best practices to clients participating in HR Tactical Gap Assessment and/or Leave Diagnostic.
• The role is also responsible for supporting the delivery of core resources and fee-based solutions

Shift:

• Working Hours: M – F 9-5 REMOTE
• 3-month contract w/ potential to extend
• Part time up to 24 hours a week

Pay: $38.00/Hour

Overview:

• The role is responsible for assisting senior consultants in responding to client inquiries and providing day-to-day HR guidance on a variety of challenges.
• Conducting relevant research, perform data analysis, and create reports and supporting materials to enable operational and service delivery.
• Assisting in preparing project plans, timelines, and deliverables - including reviewing client policies and processes and compiling benchmarking data.
• Helping develop templates, tools, and standardized project solutions addressing topics such as ADA, FMLA, paid time off and leave, performance management, onboarding, talent acquisition, and Total Rewards.
• Conducting and present key findings on HR best practices to clients participating in our HR Tactical Gap Assessment and/or Leave Diagnostic -both products are off-the-shelf standardized tools clients complete via an intake form, and in which a report is generated by our global delivery center and delivered by our consultants
• The role is also responsible for supporting the delivery of core resources and fee-based solutions
