Job summary

Casa Cipriani New York is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

You will coordinate new hire orientation, handle employee relations, assist in performance reviews, and support payroll and benefits processes, while upholding company policies and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3+ years of HR experience in a generalist role or related HR function.
• Proficiency in HR software (e.g., ADP, Dayforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, employee concerns and workplace issues.
• Assist in conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Assist in audits and reporting related to compliance and workplace safety.
• Coordinate with payroll to ensure accuracy in compensation and deductions.
• Assist employees with benefits enrollment and inquiries.
• Manage leave administration, including Leave of Absences, PTO, workers compensation and other time-off requests.
• Assist in performance review processes and provide guidance to managers.
• Help coordinate training and professional development programs.
