Job summary

TC Restaurant Group in Nashville, TN seeks an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations, recruitment, payroll processes, and recordkeeping. You will collaborate with the Director of Human Resources and operations teams to implement policies and ensure compliance across the organization.

The role requires 2–3 years in HR, a related degree, and proficiency with MS Office and HRIS/payroll systems. Hospitality experience is a plus, with focus on confidentiality and accurate data management.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in a human resources management setting.
• College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software; working knowledge of payroll management systems, HRIS, POS, T&L, and similar computer applications.
• An understanding of ad platforms for recruiting.
• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advances recruiting efforts by attending job fairs, monitoring and maintaining hiring platforms and job postings, organizing and tracking applicants, and issuing incoming resumes to management.
• Gathers and analyzes data with metrics such as compensation, time-to-hire, and turnover rates.
• Oversees onboarding process for new employees; manages full-cycle onboarding/offboarding.
• Creates and distributes offboarding documents in line with DoL requirements and regulations.
• Maintains employee data in databases; conducts periodic audits of HR files and payroll records.
• Supports payroll functions and documentation of hourly compensation, deductions, and benefits.
• Ensures SOPs and best practices are communicated and used company-wide.
• Provides clerical support and responds to internal/external information requests.
• Communicates progress, challenges, and timelines to the Director of HR.
