Job summary

Yokogawa Electric Corporation in Sugar Land, TX, seeks an experienced HR Generalist to provide broad HR operations support throughout the employee lifecycle. The role emphasizes onboarding, benefits coordination, data management, compliance, reporting, and policy support in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

You will partner with payroll, benefits, and HRBPs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and departures and will support engagement initiatives and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or related discipline preferred.
• Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
• Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably within a generalist or HR operations capacity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding HR data, policies, and general HR processes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information within HR systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Generate, track, and interpret HR reports and metrics to identify trends and provide insights to HR leadership.
• Coordinate the full onboarding process, including system setup, benefits enrollment, and New Employee Orientation.
• Partner with payroll, benefits, and hiring managers to ensure smooth transitions for new hires and exiting employees.
• Assist with leaves of absence requests, compliance, and HR audits.
