Job summary

Carevet is seeking an HR Generalist to own regional HR administration across multiple locations, including onboarding, background checks, status changes, integrations, payroll questions, and unemployment. You will partner with the HR Business Partner to keep compliance airtight in a fast-growing footprint.

The role emphasizes building processes quickly and owning HR life cycles from start to finish, with site integrations, HRIS data accuracy, and confidential inquiries handled professionally.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR management or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in HR or administrative role.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Exceptional critical and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Paycor or Paychex HRIS.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding activities for new hires across multiple locations.
• Manage site integrations and HRIS data imports.
• Respond to HR inquiries from team members and leaders.
• Maintain compliance and update location checklists.
• Run audits of HRIS data for accuracy.
• Create ad hoc reports and analytics for departments.
• Support employment verifications and unemployment claims.
• Assist with E-Verify and I-9 processes.
