Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an Indiana-based HR Generalist (Employment) to support hourly bargaining unit employees and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. You will administer employment office functions, manage onboarding, and support workforce analytics to meet contractual obligations and policies.

Key responsibilities include handling leave tracking, records, and employee inquiries, driving engagement initiatives, and assisting with union agreement administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1+ years of HR or related experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong follow-up, problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• Experience with HR systems such as Workday is not required; other systems can be taught.

Responsibilities

• Administer hourly employment office functions and processes; assist with workforce analysis and people power management.
• Manage day-to-day Employment window functions: leave tracking, reinstatements, employee questions and records management.
• Implement onboarding orientation sessions for the HBU workforce.
• Support lean manufacturing implementation and execution.
• Drive positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
• Assist with administration of national and local bargaining agreements.
