Job summary

SPX Technologies is opening a new campus facility in Madison, AL and seeks a Human Resources Generalist to partner with leaders across the employee lifecycle.

You will handle employee relations, onboarding, performance management, payroll, benefits administration, and leave management, ensuring compliance with the collective bargaining agreement and applicable laws. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of progressive Human Resources experience in a Generalist, HRBP, or similar role.
• Experience supporting core HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, payroll, leave administration, and policy administration.
• Working knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, EEO) and wage-and-hour requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors on day-to-day HR matters such as policy interpretation, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and workplace concerns.
• Partner with supervisors and managers to promote a high-performing, engaged workplace culture.
• Manage the employee life cycle for hourly manufacturing employees and support HR systems and reporting.
