Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an on-site HR Coordinator to support the production hourly workforce and partner with the facility's HR leader. You will spend time on the shop floor building relationships, answering questions, and guiding attendance and payroll processes.

The role focuses on onboarding, employee engagement, policy communication, and HR administration at a manufacturing site with ~250 employees. Bachelor's degree preferred; strong MS Office skills required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in HR, business admin, or related field.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping systems.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain presence on the production floor to support hourly associates.
• Answer policy questions and escalate complex matters.
• Manage timekeeping, payroll inputs, and attendance records.
• Handle employment changes and employee records.
• Support onboarding, background checks, and orientation for new hires.
• Coordinate employee engagement events and recognition programs.
• Maintain HR communications and bulletin boards.
• Track onboarding, compliance, and engagement metrics.
• Identify trends and share insights with HR leadership.
