Job summary

NOTS Logistics is seeking a proactive HR Generalist to support employees, operations, and culture in White, GA. The role focuses on leave administration (FMLA and other leaves), workers’ compensation, and maintaining a safe, compliant workplace.

The ideal candidate will manage leave processes, confidentiality, and HR records, while partnering with Safety and Operations to sustain NOTS Logistics’ values of Safety, Drug Free, Attitude, and Attendance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent HR experience.
• 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of FMLA administration and leave management.
• Experience coordinating workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work processes.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR documentation practices.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple cases and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and coordinate employee leaves of absence (FMLA, personal, medical).
• Manage the leave process from notification to return-to-work.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and maintain confidential records.
• Coordinate with employees, supervisors, benefits, HR leadership.
• Manage workers’ compensation claims with insurers and operations.
• Support injury reporting, documentation, and return-to-work plans.
• Monitor open cases and ensure timely communication and documentation.
• Partner with Safety and Operations on trends and injury prevention.
• Maintain accurate HR records and HR metrics.
