Job summary

Aviata Health Group in Tallahassee, FL seeks a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to oversee HR services, policies, and programs across multiple care centers. The role focuses on building a people-centric culture, guiding facility management, and driving recruitment and onboarding.

Travel is required; the HRG will mentor staff, implement HR policies in compliance with state and federal guidelines, and support leadership development through education and recognition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Organization Development required.
• SPHR or PHR certification preferred.
• Minimum of four years of HR-related experience.
• Qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR departments for multiple care centers (skilled nursing homes).
• Provide education, mentorship, and leadership development to facility management and HR staff. Travel required.
• Direct and supervise full-time employees across care centers.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, and staff orientation/training.
• Design and implement recruitment and retention programs.
• Evaluate candidates and influence HR employment decisions.
• Develop employee recognition and engagement programs.
• Maintain facility HR policies in line with regulations.
