Job Summary

Join a dynamic HR team supporting the heart of Main Campus Operations at the Crile Building. In this critical role, you will partner closely with departments including Materials Handling, Sterile Processing, Facilities Engineering, Preventive Medicine, and other potential clinical areas.

This position is ideal for a candidate with strong employee relations experience. You will play a pivotal role in managing complex day-to-day issues, including attendance and adherence to policies and procedures. Your ability to navigate sensitive conversations, deliver clear guidance, and support leadership through employee relations challenges will be key to your success.

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am - 5:00pm on-site 5 days per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting the HR strategic plan and Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) under the direction of the Director HR Services.
  2. Serving as a confidential advisor on performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  3. Counseling client groups and facilitating conflict resolutions.
  4. Interpreting and advising on HR policies and programs.
  5. Conducting investigations and making recommendations to leaders.
  6. Facilitating the Right of Review process.
  7. Building relationships with HR COE partners and communicating programs to employees.
  8. Pulling reports from HR systems like Kronos, Workday, and My Learning.
  9. Analyzing HR metrics and providing recommendations.
  10. Supporting regulatory practices for fair treatment.
  11. Partnering with legal as needed.
  12. Determining development needs and providing training.
  13. Supporting workforce planning and reviewing requests for promotions, reclassifications, etc.
  14. Supporting regulatory and accreditation surveys.
  15. Monitoring compliance with organizational initiatives.
  16. Participating in leadership councils and committees.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, or related field with five years of HR experience, or equivalent experience with a high school diploma or an Associate’s Degree.

Knowledge of employment laws and strong communication skills are essential.

Preferred qualifications include HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work stationary for extended periods.
  • Travel throughout the hospital system and off-site locations.
  • Operate computer and office equipment.
  • Communicate effectively.
