Job summary

KorTerra, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle in a software environment. You will work with the Director of Human Resources and cross-functional teams to recruit, onboard, manage benefits, and ensure HR processes are compliant and efficient.

The role balances day-to-day HR duties with longer-term initiatives, requiring discretion, organization, and strong communication skills. Hybrid work options and professional development support are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related field.
• 3+ years of human resources experience.
• Working knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.
• General knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience with an HRIS (Paylocity preferred).
• Experience using AI tools responsibly to improve efficiency, communication, and HR processes while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own the full recruiting cycle: sourcing, screening, interviews, and background checks.
• Partner with managers to ensure organized candidate experience and timely offers.
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding, orientation, and system access.
• Support benefits administration, enrollment changes, and vendor communications.
• Maintain confidential HR records and prepare reports on headcount, turnover, and metrics.
• Assist with performance management and employee engagement activities.
