Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3–5 years of HR Generalist or HR operations experience covering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience administering HRIS platforms and maintaining electronic records.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Google Workspace.
• Working knowledge of modern productivity and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Notion).
• Solid understanding of federal employment laws and HR best practices.
• Exceptional organization, discretion, communication, and independent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• HRIS administration: maintain accurate profiles, job data, compensation records, and workflows.
• Payroll data review and timekeeping coordination; resolve discrepancies with Finance.
• Onboarding and offboarding: manage offers, background checks, I-9, orientation, and exit processes.
• Recruitment: post positions, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, maintain pipeline.
• Employee relations: act as first point of contact and support managers with coaching and documentation.
• Compliance & records: audit-ready files; track HR deadlines and policy acknowledgements.
