Job summary

Renegade Materials Corp. in Miamisburg, Ohio, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This hands-on role covers recruiting, onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, HR systems, and general HR administration, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.

You will support a broad range of HR functions, helping develop and improve processes and programs while serving as a resource to employees and managers. A versatile, detail‑oriented HR professional will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressively responsible HR experience in a generalist or similar role.
• Experience with full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
• Experience with payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and general HR practices.
• Experience using HRIS, applicant tracking, or similar HR systems.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and reporting.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities.
• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and support hiring decisions.
• Coordinate onboarding, facilitate new hire orientation, and ensure a positive new employee experience.
• Support recruiting and onboarding activities for student co-op program.
• Develop and improve recruiting and onboarding processes, materials, and resources.
• Process payroll and review employee pay, timekeeping records, and related information for accuracy.
• Review timekeeping exceptions and resolve discrepancies with employees and managers.
• Maintain employee information, employment transactions, and HRIS records.
• Prepare HR and payroll reports and support related recordkeeping and compliance activities.
• Coordinate employee training activities, LMS administration, and training needs.
• Support development and improvement of training programs and resources.
• Provide HR policies guidance and administrative support; assist with HR compliance and documentation.
• Support limited contracts administration, including document review and confidentiality agreements.
