Job summary

INNIO Group in Waukesha, Wisconsin, is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our HR team supporting Jenbacher Operations at the Waukesha facility. The HR Generalist is responsible for employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, payroll support, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws and internal policies.

The successful candidate will manage HRIS systems (Workday, ADP preferred), assist with audits, poster compliance, and process improvements in a global matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and 5+ years HR experience.
• Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, Jobvite, ADP) preferred.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations for assigned business group.
• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
• Partner with managers in the performance review processes.
• Support the onboarding process for assigned business group to ensure a smooth and effective transition for new hires.
• Assist in responding to audits, employment verifications, surveys, etc.
• Support the offboarding process for assigned business group.
• Support immigration/compliance matters.
• Oversee employee personnel files, perform periodic audits of files and records to ensure all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
• Manage labor law poster program, including vendor management and posting compliance.
• Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
• Support payroll processing as needed.
• Provide back‑up support to team members as needed.
• Assist with HR special projects.
