Job summary

INNIO is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to join its growing HR team in Waukesha, WI. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn the operational side of Human Resources.

You’ll support employee lifecycle processes, maintain data integrity, and deliver exceptional service to employees and managers, with exposure to Payroll, Benefits, and HR Systems in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in HR operations, shared services, or a related customer-focused role.
  • Working knowledge of HR systems and HR processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including hires, onboarding, transfers, promotions, leaves of absence, and terminations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
  • Prepare, review, and process HR documentation in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support onboarding and employee administration activities to ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries from employees and managers while escalating complex matters as needed.
  • Generate recurring HR reports, perform data audits, and support compliance-related activities.
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvements, system implementations, and operational initiatives.
  • Support payroll, benefits, and other HR operations activities as assigned.
  • Help develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance service delivery.

Working closely with experienced HR professionals, you'll play a key role in supporting employee lifecycle processes, maintaining HR data integrity, and delivering exceptional service to employees and managers across the organization.

What you’ll do:
