Job summary

Smarty is seeking an HR Generalist to join our HR & Employee Experience team in Orem, UT. You’ll handle recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and HR operations to keep our people engaged and supported.

You’ll work hands-on with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and employee experience, partnering with managers across the business to ensure smooth people processes in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as HR Generalist/HR Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience with Rippling or comparable HRIS/ATS is preferred.
• Solid grasp of core HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned requisitions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer extension.
• Serve as primary administrator for HRIS, maintaining accurate team member data and generating reports as needed.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and offboarding, including paperwork, system setup, and logistics.
• Respond to team member inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and HR matters.
• Maintain HR compliance documentation and recordkeeping, and track trainings and reporting.
• Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and vendor coordination.
• Assist with performance management processes, including documentation and tracking.
• Maintain team member files and records per legal and company requirements.
• Advise hiring managers on compensation execution, including offer letters and pay changes.
• Support employee engagement and culture initiatives.
