Job summary

Chesapeake Search Partners partners with an established landscape organization to hire an HR Generalist who will support employees and leadership across HR functions. Talent acquisition is a major focus of the role, along with benefits administration and day-to-day HR responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general HR experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business preferred.
• Knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations for employees and managers.
• Assist full-cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating.
• Partner with managers to support staffing and hiring.
• Support onboarding and new hire processes.
• Assist with benefits administration and HR inquiries.
• Maintain confidential employee records and HR documents.
• Support HR reporting, compliance, and administrative processes.
• Help implement HR policies and initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
