Job summary

Kids In Need Foundation is seeking an HR Generalist in Little Canada, MN. This role supports daily HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years HR experience, a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, and strong knowledge of employment laws. The position collaborates with the PEO and HRIS systems to ensure accurate records and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years of human resource experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud/Teams and HRIS/HCM/ADP/payroll systems.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to the mission, values, and culture of a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

• Partner with department leaders to deliver strategic HR support for the organization's mission.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment: postings, sourcing, interviews, background checks, ATS.
• Design and implement onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
• Maintain accurate job descriptions and personnel files in compliance with policies.
• Administer benefits programs and support HR policy development and training.
• Coordinate performance evaluations, salary increase processes, and related training.
