Job summary

Foxconn E BG Group in Santa Clara, CA, seeks an HR Generalist to lead the HR work for the start-up of the NPI site. You will build the HR foundation for commissioning, ramp-up, and ongoing operations, shaping local strategy in collaboration with plant leadership and regional HR.

The role covers talent acquisition, workforce planning, ER, compliance, compensation and HR operations, analytics and reporting, and safety support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is required.
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
• Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) preferred.
• Eight+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, technology, or startup environments.
• Experience with site startups, workforce ramp-up, and high-growth operations.
• Experience in employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: staff and onboard the site; partner on hiring decisions; manage agency relationships.
• Employee Relations & Performance Management: handle ER for plant employees; address performance or conduct issues; foster engagement.
• Compliance & Risk Management: ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws; identify risks and develop solutions.
• Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations: coordinate with regional HR on compensation, benefits, and payroll systems.
• Workforce Analytics & Reporting: monitor workforce trends; produce local reports for startup and operations.
• Safety, Customer & Cross-Functional Support: support site startup with Operations, Engineering, Quality, etc.; training coordination with regional L&D.
• Leadership Responsibilities: coach plant leaders on performance, champion company values, build leadership capability.
