Job summary

Pita Way seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support employees and leadership across approximately 55 restaurants and two concepts. This on-site role reports to the HR Director and requires strong judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to handle multiple employee matters.

You will handle employee relations, recruiting and onboarding, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, and compliance across states. Candidates should have 3+ years of HR experience and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent HR experience.
• 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in HR Generalist role.
• Working knowledge of federal & state employment laws & HR best practices.
• Experience handling employee relations matters & workplace investigations.
• Experience with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and employee documentation.
• Strong written communication & documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for restaurant managers, field leaders, and employees.
• Respond to employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as needed.
• Collaborate with HR Director on sensitive matters and documentation.
• Assist with onboarding, hiring processes, and HR compliance.
• Maintain accurate HR records and support HRIS data integrity.
• Support payroll processing, timecards, and pay updates as needed.
