Pita Way seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support ~55 restaurants from its Waterford, Michigan headquarters. You will handle employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, payroll support, and compliance across locations, partnering with the HR Director and operations leadership.

The role requires strong communication, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple employee matters in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years HR generalist experience in a multi-site or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state employment laws and HR best practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR resource for managers and employees across multiple locations.
• Conduct workplace investigations and advise on employee relations issues.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, documentation, and I-9 compliance.
• Assist with payroll support, timekeeping, and benefit questions.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and employee records; prepare reports.
