Job summary

Hitachi Rail in Honolulu invites a driven HR Generalist to support the Honolulu Rail Project from Pearl City, HI. You will partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment plans, manage onboarding, and administer HR programs aligning with company goals.

The role requires at least three years in recruitment and employee relations, with knowledge of HR disciplines and employment laws. A Bachelor's in HR Management is preferred; SRHM/PHR certification is a plus, and ATS experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in recruitment and employee relations.
• Knowledge of multiple HR disciplines and employment laws.
• HR certifications preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-SCP).
• ATS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports HR management with recruitment plans and strategies.
• Coordinates onboarding for new hires and contractors.
• Develops position terms for hires, promotions, and transfers.
• Maintains HRIS records and generates reports.
• Ensures compliance with policies and state/federal laws.
