Job summary

Toyotetsu America, Inc. in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, reporting to the Senior HR Manager.

You will handle employee relations, onboarding, training, attendance, policy administration, and HR compliance, while partnering with supervisors to foster a productive, respectful environment and ensure consistent application of company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience may be considered.
• 3+ years of HR generalist experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with FMLA and ADA processes.
• Experience coordinating, developing, or facilitating employee or leadership training.
• Experience handling confidential employee information and HR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies, benefits, attendance, and employee questions.
• Support onboarding, orientations, and new hire processes.
• Assist with attendance management and counseling where needed.
• Prepare HR correspondence, reports, and corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Support recruiting and staffing as needed.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
