Job summary

Valmont Industries in Farmington, MN is seeking an HR Generalist to provide full HR support across departments, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies.

You will handle onboarding, employee relations, performance processes, benefits enrollment, and HR data entry while collaborating with site management to align people goals with business strategy. Occasional after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

• Preferred Bachelors in relevant field or Associate with 3+ years of HR experience.
• Experience with compliance and regulatory issues, and with a major HRIS system.
• Ability to work in a production/manufacturing environment and occasionally outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain job descriptions and provide HR guidance to departments.
• Support employee relations initiatives and investigations to ensure a fair work environment.
• Assist in onboarding, performance reviews, safety events, and benefits enrollment.
• Enter data accurately into HRIS and related technologies; collaborate with leaders on HR processes.
• Analyze feedback and develop solutions; support managers and employees with inquiries.
