Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a motivated HR Generalist to support employee engagement, benefits administration, HR operations, employee relations, and compliance across our programs.

This on-site role at our Fishkill corporate office offers opportunities to deliver presentations, training sessions, and collaborate with managers across teams. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of HR experience and is organized, proactive, and discreet.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of HR experience; generalist experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong technology skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly; proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to facilitate orientations and trainings using Teams.
• Experience creating presentations and visual materials using Canva or PowerPoint; ability to learn these tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee information in Paylocity daily, including HRIS records and reports.
• Assist employees with benefits administration and general HR questions.
• Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and maintain an employee community page in Paylocity.
• Support employee retention initiatives and internal communications to promote a positive culture.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Conduct orientations, benefits presentations, and HR trainings using Teams; create engaging materials with Canva.
