Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an HR Generalist to run daily HR department functions, including pay, benefits, and leave administration, while upholding district policies and guidelines. The role requires discretion within professional guidelines and supports Employee Relations, Operations, Total Rewards and Talent Management.

Under supervision, you will perform routine HR tasks, handle inquiries, and assist in cross-training.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in business or related field
• Two (2) years of administrative assistant/clerical experience in HR, accounting, payroll or related area
• Basic knowledge of HR operations, policies, and software
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently

Responsibilities

• Perform routine HR tasks including compensation, benefits, and leave management.
• Assist with employee relations, investigations, and performance documentation.
• Support data accuracy for reports (CDE, EEOC, etc.).
• Communicate procedures and guidance regarding employment and leaves of absence.
• Provide cross-training support and cover for other HR Generalists.
