Zions Bancorporation is seeking an HR Generalist to support client groups and staff with HR policies, leave administration, and workers' compensation processes. This role will operate primarily in-office in Phoenix, AZ, with potential flexibility by location, and requires strong communication and confidentiality.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in HR or related field and at least 1 year of HR experience, including compliance with FMLA/ADA and local, state, and federal laws.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• 1 year of experience in unemployment, workers' compensation, FMLA/ADA and legal requirements.
• Knowledge of general HR practices, principles and laws.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple HR disciplines.
• Strong organization and follow-up skills; adaptability to change.
• Good presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid customer service, influence and negotiation abilities.
• Experience handling highly confidential information daily.
• MS Office and HRIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR programs including Workers' Compensation, Unemployment Claims and ADA/Leave administration.
• Serve as a resource for client groups on company HR best practices.
• Promote positive HR practices to minimize liability and improve environment.
• Own special projects by clarifying objectives, scheduling, researching and executing tasks.
• Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope.
