Job summary

Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company seeks an HR Generalist focused on benefits and compensation to join its Corporate Office in Fort Wayne, IN. You will provide generalized HR support across operations, hiring, benefits and compensation, collaborating with HR personnel and management.

The role emphasizes maintaining confidential processes, managing HRIS data, and coordinating benefits projects, payroll and performance initiatives while working with external vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, HR or related field.
• At least two years of HR, legal, claims or high-contact office experience.
• Professional certification in HR, benefits administration, or legal/paralegal preferred.
• Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop and support HR operations projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate, develop and support HR employment projects and initiatives (hiring, recruitment, onboarding, Catalyst).
• Coordinate, develop and support HR benefits and compensation projects (compensation analysis, benefit administration, payroll).
• Maintain ongoing relationships with third parties and outside vendors.
• Provide support for the HRIS database and employee information processing.
• Research new techniques and suggest enhancements to programs and processes.
• Assist with clerical support functions for the department.
• Respond to external inquiries and HR Help Desk as required.
• Complete other projects as assigned.
