Job summary

Gateway Rehab is seeking an HR Generalist to join our Moon Township corporate office. You will manage health, retirement, and related programs while supporting employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations.

In this role you’ll administer benefits across plans, coordinate with vendors, enroll employees in 401(k), ensure ACA/COBRA compliance, and maintain HR records. A collaborative team environment and career‑growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least two years of experience in HR, benefits administration, payroll, or related HR role.
• Hands‑on experience with benefits administration, 401(k) retirement plans, HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems.
• Working knowledge of ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA, employment laws, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and HR practices.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administers health, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary benefits, wellness, and 401(k) programs.
• Partners with vendors, brokers, and third‑party administrators to resolve issues and coordinate plan changes.
• Manages 401(k) enrollments, contributions, eligibility tracking, vendor coordination, and employee education.
• Coordinates open enrollment, monitor benefits eligibility and changes, and administer FMLA, disability, and workers’ compensation processes.
• Supports recruitment and onboarding, and maintains HR records, HRIS data, and compliance documentation.
